An ER Visit For A Funny Little Boy

We had a fun daddy and mommy get away this weekend but it didn't come without a little drama--- Carter and Payten stayed with Mimi-- and Carter had a little accident. He was trying to turn on the TV that sits on a glass stand in Mimi's Bedroom ---that Mimi had asked him several times not to turn on-- but being the little boy that he is -- well you know how the story ends-- he turns on the TV-- but also falls on the glass that breaks and cuts his hand-- YIKES

So after much consideration Mimi took him to the ER-- thankfully no stitches but at least the visit eased Mimi's mind-- and slowed Poppi's worries....

The visit also provided a funny little story from my little boy that I must share:

All of the nurses were coming in to talk with Carter and were eating him up-- one nurse in particular came in and mom says she doesn't think this nurse had anything to do with his visit-- just came in to say hello and she says "you are just the cutest little pumpkin"-- you try to teach your children to say thank you with compliments and I know Mimi wishes Carter would have remembered his manners-- but not this time--no thank yous-- you know what Carter's response was? "you a scarecrow".

Mom said the nurse just kinda looked at her-- and my mom was so embarrassed she said she felt like she needed to just start talking to make it better-- she said I just told the nurse-- Oh isn't that funny he must be relating everything to Halloween--good quick thinking Mimi--
